Stage 3, The Cantabrian Natural Way
We leave Viveiro by road and then take the ‘camino natural da ruta do Cantábrico’ towards the coast of Xove.
Here we find the Roncadoira lighthouse and then the road surprises us with an unspoilt landscape, an incomparable setting which is impossible not to marvel at, as its beauty is incredible, it is like being inside a painting that you do not want to leave.
The route continues close to the sea along roads with ascents and descents showing all the charming corners until you reach the Morás pass, which is striking for its characteristic concrete blocks, and then enter the village of San Ciprián. Dirt roads, asphalted tracks and promenades by the sea make the arrival to the town of Burela, a town known for being a reference in the fishing of the ‘bonito del Norte’ and ‘la merluza del pincho’ (hake on a skewer), comfortable and beautiful.
