Stage 10, The French Way

 

Low-difficulty stage, mostly flat with a few gentle climbs towards the end. After leaving the urban area of León and La Virgen del Camino behind, the landscape becomes increasingly rural until reaching peaceful villages such as Hospital de Órbigo, famous for its medieval bridge.

The final stretch climbs up to the Cruz de Santo Toribio, offering magnificent views, before descending into Astorga, a city with great historical value and a strong pilgrim atmosphere.
