Stage 1, The Finisterre Way
Departure from the city of the Apostle on beautiful and cyclable trails. The first kilometres go through very wooded areas. This is the greenest part of this route until its arrival to Fisterra. Once you leave this area, you have to cycle through secondary roads until Ponte Maceira, village that has the honour of having been distinguished as one of the hundred most beautiful villages of Spain, which has a beautiful environment, stone houses, cobbled streets, a centenary bridge, mills at the foot of the river, a manor house, hiking trails and an extradionary view.
The route continues along tree-lined paths and secondary roads, passing through the medieval village of Negreira. Until the arrival at Olveiroa, a village of century-old granaries and the end of the stage, the route offers good panoramic views, where the green landscapes merge with a multitude of windmills in the background to create a beautiful scene.
